Egg Hunting

Easter seems so long ago, I'm a bit behind on posting! They had a fun little egg hunt for our ward. We started off watching a movie about the Resurrection of Christ to put us in the right frame of mind for Easter. Then the kids got to hunt eggs outside with all their friends.

Reid Park Zoo

We took a little day trip to Tucson a few weeks ago and took the kids to the Zoo. They love this place!

This picture made me laugh, Carter's face and Gabby's feet.

The girls tried to pet the bunnies, one of their favorites.

Nate loved finding "Marty" the zebra, who he is convinced is the real Marty from Madagascar.

Surprise snowfall

During Spring Break, the kids had a surprise outside when they woke up...snow! It was not enough to stay on the ground. About all they could do was catch snowflakes on their tongue but they had fun anyway!

Such a cute couple and their day was perfect! Congrats Amy and Chaz!

 

 

 

 

  

 

Special Delivery

Gabby's class got to take a field trip to the Post Office. They got to see what happens to a letter after it is dropped off, how the mail is sorted and sent out to homes and businesses. They even fit the entire class inside a mail truck. Can you find Gabby? and Nate?

Nate's Birthday Bike Parade

Nate saw something fun in a book that he wanted to try out for his birthday... a bike parade! We had a few friends come over and the kids decorated their bikes (or themselves) with Batman decor and rode around the neighborhood.
 

 

Then they came home to eat ice cream cones and this beauty...(squint your eyes, maybe it looks like the Batman logo?? Ha!)

Carter had been planning her 8th birthday party since the day after her 7th birthday. She wanted a Hawaiian themed party with Hawaiian Punch and Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner.

Turned out to be a fun and silly night with all these cute girls!

 

Carter's Baptism Day

Carter's baptism day was a really special day. She had lots of friends and family members come watch as her daddy baptized her a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She got to participate in the program and sang a solo. We are proud of her decision to follow Jesus Christ.
