Swim Team

Carter decided to try swim team this year and really had fun with it. She didn't mind waking up early all summer or jumping right into the cold water first thing. She gave it her best effort and we were very proud of her. Go Carter!

College for Kids 2013

Here's a few pictures from Nate's karate class he was in this summer.  Gotta love it when he uses "Yes Ma'am" when he talks to me all week :)

The girls got ripped off, as I forgot my camera every day for their baton class. You will just have to take my word that it was very entertaining and they really learned a lot in only a weeks time.

There are a lot of pics in this post but it's not every year that you start Tee-ball :) Nate loved Tee-ball! He improved so much during the season and looked so cute in his gigantic uniform. He loved fake whistling to cheer his team on and says his favorite part was running the bases.

Singin' a song

Here is Carter singing her solo part for the 3rd graders end-of-the-year concert. They performed several fun songs with props, dancing and sign language. Very entertaining!

Debut #3

At long last, Nate is finally old enough to participate in the children's theatre! Last night was opening night for The Little Mermaid. Nate made his debut as a turtle and Gabby was a jellyfish. Gabby was in the Under the Sea scene and they were both in the Kiss the Girl scene. It is amazing they put together such a cute play in only a few weeks! Good job!

Talent Show 2013

Carter was lucky to make the talent show again this year. We have been so busy and she hadn't prepared anything for tryouts. However, she would not leave school until she tried out with something! I asked if she had any of her piano songs memorized, which she did, and so she played one of the songs and made it. She performed great and it is always fun to play the big piano in an auditorium full of people. Way to go Carter!
