Judkins visit

We loved having the Judkin's come a few weekends ago (We mostly loved snatching up the baby to play!) She was a trooper while we went up the mountain to the apple orchard.

Gabby's 7th Birthday Party

Gabby got spoiled for her birthday this year and she and her friends got to go to the beauty school to get their nails painted. Gabby wanted a "Jessie" themed party, so the girls came home and went on a scavenger hunt for Mrs. Kipling and played "Pin the Bunny on Bertam".  Thanks to everyone who made Gabby's day so much fun!

The Birthday Girl

Today is Gabby's 7th birthday. This sassy lady has had a pretty good weekend with friends galore. She loves gymnastics, singing, friends, babies, trampolines, friends, makeup...did I say friends? We love her cute freckles and bubbly personality. Happy Birthday to our Gabaroni Macaroni.

Here are some of her favorites right now:
Color: Turquoise
Food: Spaghetti
TV show: Jessie
Thing about school: Recess
Animal: Giraffe and Puppy
Candy Bar: Cookies and Cream
Song: Falling for ya
When I grow up I want to be: a Rockstar

Breakfast in bed on her special day...pancakes with whipped cream and bananas. Mmmmm!

Relaxing with her new foot bath and blue sucker candy. This is the good life!

First Soccer Game

Nate has started playing soccer this year and, lucky him, has lots of friends on his team. He even got our friends, the Evans, for his coaches. Of course, soccer at this age is funny because they are just learning the rules and somebody always scores goals for the wrong team, but it is cute to watch. Go green power rangers!

First Day of School

Gabby is in 2nd grade and has the same teacher Carter had for 2nd grade (which we are glad about)

Carter is in 4th grade with a brand new teacher. She had a new teacher last year as well and she was awesome. So far, her teacher this year seems great too!

And next year, all my kids will be in school! For now though, Nate is enjoying preschool and his mommy's attention :)

Wimpledon-2013

The annual Hamblin family Wimpledon tennis tournament was a success. Marshall and Chelsea proved victorious yet again, although we were back in 2nd place this year.

Hunt Reunion-St. George

The Hunt reunion this year was really just a fun hangout weekend in St. George with Aunt Connie and Uncle Mike's family. There was lots of swimming and games and laughs...good times!

For Grandpa Bill

When we were passing through Boulder City, NV a few weeks ago, we stopped at the Mausoleum there to visit Robert's Grandma and Grandpa's burial sites. Carter was only 2 when Mema passed away and the other two kids had never been there, so it was a good experience for them. I'm thankful to know that families can be together forever.

Crazy Monsoons

Earlier this summer, we got a crazy monsoon that came through and turned the backyard into a lake in about 10 minutes. We love summer storms!

The kids and I enjoyed the sunset, rainbows and cooler temps after the storm

Pioneer Day

Waiting for the parade...

Our neighbor says it always rains on Pioneer Day, and in the 4 years that we have been here, it's happened every year. In Arizona, we'd take the rain over the sweltering heat any day!

Crosby girls visit

Melina and her girls came to visit for a whole week this summer. It was a blast! One of the nights, the kids found this sweet little dog roaming the neighborhood and adopted him for the evening. The only pics I have of their visit are with the random dog. lol
