Beating the heat

The girls have been taking swimming lessons since we have been in Mesa. They are both making lots of progress around the water! Carter is finally opening her eyes and Gabs figured out how to "monkey walk" with her hands around the edge of the pool. Today, they had a little visitor...a frog, washed up from the monsoons, was swimming around the pool with them!

That sounds like fun AND like something I need to get my kids doing if I ever want to take all three of my kiddos swimming and be calm at the same time. Cause having one kid in floaties, one kid in a floatie donut tube thing and a baby on the side of the pool is not the safest scenario in the world. ;)

Are you guys in Mesa? Where are you taking lessons? We've been doing swim lessons all summer and so far I think Eve and Devlin will learn to swim at the same time! I really should have started Devlin 2 summers ago - bad lazy mom!

I LOVE when they learn how to swim--it makes the summers so much more enjoyable as a mom! Now that you guys are here, we should get together and have a swim day. I'd love for my boys to get to know your girls better.

Too much fun. I need to start teaching my kids too. Maybe we will go swimming today. Thanks for the motivation.

Cotter started swimming last week all by himself! Those swim lessons really pay off. We all love to swim-all three of my kids have become total fish this summer!

That is only Malloy's dream come true! If a frong ever showed up in my parent's pool, he would not come out! Miss you guys and as usual your girls are adorable.
