The long anticipated first day of school has arrived. Carter has had her outfits planned out for weeks (yes, I did walk into her room and find all her stuff laid out like this). She had her backpack loaded up the night before. She was so eager that she made herself sick thinking about it on meet the teacher day. This morning, however, she was excited and ready to go. We can't wait to hear how her first day went!

Ditto on the outfits comments! I love how girly Carter is. I also think it's cute that the girl next to her in the bottom pic has a dress on. I used to ALWAYS wear dresses to school, with sneakers no less!

Perfect choice for the first day Carter. I would have picked the same outfit. I seriously used to do the same thing...I miss that. School was fun.
